This is an entirely original world with a fresh take on a popular genre VRMMO.  This is the best sci fi I have found on the site.  The setting is detailed and mostly realistic.  The plot is straight forward and very interesting.  The MC needs some work, I can't seem to get a handle on his personality.  He first starts off as someone who doesn't make jokes, but as it gets later on it seems that he is a very lighthearted character.  I think the author needs to get a better handle on him. This is a minor complaint, subpar characters don't detract from works of Scifi because all that matters is the world building.

I feel that the author borrows a lot from games like Eve Online and  maybe some board games such as Eclipse and Twilight Imperium.  It's very well written and makes me able to truly experience the actions the characters are going though.  Everything is very descriptive without bogging me down with info dumps to explain everything.  The information is concise and understandable for those that have no experience with scifi or physics experience.  I am looking forward to what this will become.

The frequent updates are also appreciated and a plus.

As mentioned in previous reviews a Sci-fi VR is a breath of fresh air, especially with its own characters and plot. Character development can be improved. The important characters are well set up. Good job in relating real life health concerns with the VR, it creates the needed tension as the plot progresses in the game. Character side stories are helpful as interludes and brings an in-depth description of this  world and the relationship between the characters. As for the protagonist, while it is understandable that he made good use of the advance character opportunity, it does seems that he is an OP character (While there are hints of what a regular player wold do at the beginning of the game, perhaps a character side story can give readers an idea how a regular player develops and specialize so that the protagonist does not seem OP).

Grammar is decent for the first draft, it is fine as long as it does not disrupts the flow of the story.

The story for the first two arc has been exciting and is starting to create momentum. Hopefully it will get more complicated as new challenges pop up, however please do not lose sight of the plot. 

In terms of style, only two problems disrupts the flow. The use of parenthesis and the time jumps. The writing and plot is clearly thought out, there is no reason for the use of parenthesis in the story itself, especially with this level of writing. Although it brings a sense of interaction between the author and the readers, personally I feel it as unnecessary as that is what author's comments at the beginning or the end is for. Parenthesis that is used to explain gaming or other allusions are understandable, although footnotes are preferred (personal opinion). As for the time jumps, most of them are incorporated nicely with decent flow in the plot, some of them are disorienting. Disorienting ones are at the beginning of the chapters or introduces new problems or characters. These become more of a summary and just presents a reason for certain actions, which degrades the quality of the plot and characters. 

 Overall, great story! It is clear that there is a plot and an ending that is still a surprise. Hopefully some of the issues that is brought up here will not disrupt the progress of story, but at the same time I hope that these critiques will enhance the quality and flow of future chapters.

This is the first sci-fi fiction that I have read and it's pretty good! I really enjoy the incredibly long chapters that you write and the details that you put! Hope you continue writing this fiction soon! Unfortunately I cannot donate, but hopefully this review helps in adding to your popularity! 

Maybe not with a doctorate like the old masters, but A realistic Scifi offering is found within these threads(pages).

I have no idea what I'm saying right now, but I'm loving this story. I can feel the struggle. Reveling in every victory, and cursing every defeat... not that there's too many of those yet.

The start is very balanced. the MC has to think his way out of death, but the tools necessary to do so are within his reach. a very solid highly recommended read. The surprises and twists keep you on the edge of your seat...

and craving more!

I personally love the fantasy setting more than sci-fi, but this fic has me hooked! It's easy to follow, the characters are easy to remember and lovable, or hate-able depending on how the author depicts them. I like how complex the skills, traits, and aspects are even if it's a bit hard to remember all of them that the MC has gained or created. After reading and following this fic for a while, I'm happy to say that I'm going to continue doing so for the long run!
