When Brent Roth suffered a workplace accident that rendered him temporarily immobile, he found himself lying in bed dreaming of a better life. He dreamed of a life where maintaining his health was no longer a daily struggle, where he could be free from the constant injuries and setbacks that had plagued him for nearly half his life.

And then when he had lost all hope, he had discovered a new virtual reality game on the horizon. A VR-MMORPG that offered him everything he lacked in real life, everything that had eluded him.

A world where he could find adventure, companionship, and success all wrapped up in the singular package of The Dragon's Wrath. The game offered him a chance, a chance for salvation… a glimmer of hope.

It was better than a dream, it was a virtual dream.

Keep it Up, the good story

The background story is common, a disabilities MC and get new hope in virtual, but i like the description of the the world ( even know is still lack of info on the real world and virtual world, because it still 3 chapter ). Like description on continent, starter village,  what MC doing etc. It's give us an imagination on what MC see in the surrounding and what MC do sometimes in detail.

From what i read and feel, the story has been arranged nicely. The build up storyline is nicely done from introduction in story description and preamble. MC adventure in ch 1 and  2. The pace i feel moderate to some people maybe slow.

Hopefully we can get more description on virtual world mechanic, from the glimpse its follow real world reference from battle in ch 1 (physical battle, wait for more reference).

Need more fuel(chapter) for advanced review. For last word, Keep It Up For Good Story. Sorry if in my review there some mistake(English is not my native)

Note: Based on the full novel posted at Amazon.

I agree with freedomAce that the background is fairly common, although the extreme bad luck aspects do set up a nice foil to the character's in game luck.  I enjoyed the lack of focus on level grinding in the book and more the building aspects of striving for a secure place.

There are a few places where the parsing means that the story doesn't flow as naturally as I would expect, but that could be style (end of mini-boss fight near the end as the top example)

Keep up the good work.
