I normally don't read ff with a few chapters.  I like to lose myself in long ff that have already been established. I read a review that intrigued me and so I checked it out.   I'm awarding this 5 stars because I think it is a lot different from what else is out there on this site.  I like the classic 'comes from nothing and then succeeds against the odds' stories, but sometimes I want something else.  This ff satisfies that desire.  I haven't read anything like it.  It is a very fresh take on a familiar material.  I hope people check it out.

Honestly, when I first opened up this fanfiction, I wasn't expecting much. Only the prologue and chapter 1 were posted, with the prologue's title drastically reducing my desire to read--after all, poor grammar in a title generally foreshadows poor grammar in the text. I was, needless to say, pleasantly surprised. The MC of this story is interesting, not only because she is female (and thus one of few among the MCs on this site), but also because she seems to be driven by a healthy curiosity, and not filled with ennui. Typically, the trope is to have otherworldly MCs be bored, driving them to act if only to satisfy their need for action. I can't say much about the story at this stage, as there are only 2 chapters and a prologue posted, but I will say that it is worth reading. The grammar is good (despite first impressions on the prologue's title), the character is interesting, and the style is definitely both different and enjoyable.

At first I though 'Oh it's named maker of heroes.. Can't be too good right?' I could not be more wrong. I quickly got hooked on this story after reading a chapter and currently cant wait to read the next one that comes out.   Love the original content, keep it up!

Refreshing Angle that put the Original to Shame.

I hardly ever gave any review too the stories I've read, much less the one which only contain few chapters.   However, as an avid reader, the saying of "there is nothing new under the sun" were etched my bone, most stories (read:fanfic) in here were rather patterned. Heroic journey of  the Main Character with a taste of  troubled past and somehow easily surprised masses (not to mention prevalent luddite that even portrayed by the main novel itself)   This story of yours were surprisingly fresh, the idea of driven-curiosity spark and connected heaven concept (emphasis on the religion fraud) were absolutely captivating. Especially the tagline "in the infinite plane for infinite time". I even must admit that for a shameful ten seconds, I actually even considered the prologue were really written by an otherworldy being *cough*   The style were perfect, the story were fresh, and the character were astounding. I only a bit curious why you chose present tense for your prologue (not it's that lessening my reading pleasure, though).   Any how, I definitely would commission reading "the Maker of Heroes by Curiousbeing" to be one of my well-spent, favourite past-time.   Yours New Fan   LikoPilio

Though unique I like those cliche adventures for a reason

For prologue even the author says you can skip it if you're not into details and backstory but more for the action. However that is the best chapter so far and most unique. The story is written from another angle but I'm gonna stop there cuz it's already in the other review. What I wish to add is..maybe I have a bad taste but I get more into the stories with MC becoming slowly OP over time. Those I can't stop reading, the training and action.. , that feeling I don't get from this ff but it's still at the beginning so maybe it will change. I gave objective rating because of the quallity, can't help my taste differs but that is subjective.

A Very Original Fanfiction

As far as style and grammar go, this story isn't bad... but it takes a lot to impress me in that regard lol   Anyway, the most important thing in any story, is always the story itself and the characters who are portrayed within.  I would never take points off the Overall  Score because the grammar or style wasn't perfect, but my 5/5 rating is definitely justified.   Not only is the main character's personality extremely interesting, but his class and abilities fit perfectly.  As far as the actual plot is concerned... well, it's in the title rofl   I was surprised to find that this story was so far down on the top 50 list, I would have expected it to at least make the top 10.  Well, keep writing and hopefully more people will rate your story to push it up to its rightful place :)

This story was coming along so nicely, and then suddenly, out of the blue, we hear that it will be discontinued?

while the author is well within his/her rights to do so, I was personally very disappointed to see this story end.

Honestly, GnomeBob, I prefer this story to some of your other works, and it really felt like this story was just dropped in favour of "more important" fanfics.

Well, that's my rant - and, all that aside, good work on this work and I hope you continue to write good fanfics for the community.
