Good Start Keep Up the Good Work

This is a really good book for Royal Road and I would love to see more of it. The status and the beginning have got me really hyped for the rest of the story. It is really well done, story wise little cliche, but I like it. Grammar was not a problem in my eyes. The MC needs a little more depth but the rest I like it. The status box issue mentioned by the other reviewer does not bother me in the slightest, as it was said there would be multiple boxes of information. I just love it. Good job Author keep up the good work.

An average if not disappointing RE: story

An unusual opening leads to a disappointingly standard tale of reincarnation + revenge. I would rate the story up through Chapter 9 as disappointing but roughly average for RRL.

Why does the God setup the MC so he needs to suffer and get revenge? Not too clear. Seems like he's an asshole or underpowered if karma somehow forces him to do such messed up shit. Then again, as a reader I don't really care. Why? Because the author hasn't crafted characters that might make me give a damn. Do we care about all the people surrounding the MC? Not enough that it stings when they die. This revenge trope has no personal resonance. As Rabenfutter mentions, there just isn't any deep sense of emotion conveyed by the MC (and yes his "calm" skill doesn't help here) or any of the other characters in a consistent and meaningful fashion.

The writing style is fine if not stylish or particularly vibrant and the grammar isn't too bad. The story has potential but does not execute on it. The characters are bland and lack any sort of development.

As I mentioned extensively in chapter notes, the author consistently fails to deliver realistic characters. The MC only "remembers" his powers and equipment whenever is convenient for the author. That's bad writing. Good stories make sure the all characters use everything at their disposal, just like real people. If powers and items are troublesome then edit them out of your story and make special skills and items tremendously rare or 1 time use only. Honestly, this flaw is painfully common in RRL stories so I cannot fault this author in particular. Thus the average rating.

This is one of the famous calm mind tales, which destroys character depth, growth, and realism to a degree.

I like the premise of the story even if it is worn reincarnation.

But the main plot of 'revenge the family' falls even in a deeper grave when we can not feel any connection to them whatsoever, and are instead bombarded with blue boxes.
