Okay, so for anyone who is interested, this is what I've been up to lately: Questing.
It's a third person POV story about four erm, 'friends,' who became adventurers in Alfirin. Two of which, were in volume 2 of "Immortal Soul," but the others... well, they're special in their own ways.
Essentially, I wanted a change of pace from writing in first person POV, and there are so many strange things that have been happening in the background of the story, that I simply haven't been able to reveal. I mean, what's the deal with Belial? If Luna has such advanced technology, why was everyone on Earth stuck in the middle-ages? What does Terra do for fun? How OP are celestial bodies that have consciousnesses, nearly infinite mana-pools, and way too much time on their metaphorical hands?
Anyway, the point is, I haven't stopped writing or died, I'm just working on "Questing,' for now. If you're wondering why I'm doing it now, and not after I had finished writing volume 4 of "Immortal Soul," it's because of the timeline. The story starts, between v4 ch5 and v4 ch6, so if I put it off until later... ugh, I mean, I already went back and forth throughout the timeline so many times already lol. For example: volume 3, chapter 11 "Cataclysm" actually takes place around the same time that volume 4 will end... but that's one of the peculiarities of writing a story in first person perspective, versus third person.
Yes, I did just add in 3 more links to my blog in that last paragraph lol. Back to what I was saying; the first volume of "Questing" is nearly complete. I've written chapters 1-9 already, and posted 1-7; within two days I'll finish editing chapters 8 and 9, so all that's left is chapter 10... probably won't be a chapter 11 for volume 1. Then I'll finally get back to writing "Act Four: Salvation."
Also, while it's a lot more half-assed than most of the lists that I've seen and used, these are the Stories That I Follow. It isn't a list of every translated LN and WN in existence, but just the ones that I actually enjoy and read every time they're updated :P
Ah, just posted "Chapter Eight" of "Questing" and I'll be posting chapter nine tomorrow. Links are so pretty... :)
Posted "Chapter Nine" now all that's left is ten... but I haven't finished writing it yet, and then I need to edit it, so don't expect it to come out tomorrow lol.
