There are grammar errors that appear consistently like speaking in present tense instead of the past, wrong spelling, etc.

Everything is spoonfed to the reader, just like in chinese novels, you should expect the fleshing of the character to be a chapter were they tell you what is wrong with them, what they hate, what they like, etc.

And finally the redeeming feature is that the descriptions and placing are right on point, fights, actions, places, everything is very life like if you skip the grammar mistakes once again.

Right so after catching up to the authors releases the first thing I would point out is that this story is a good read,

if you can ignore gramatical errors that is only slightly better than most xianxia novels. There is numerous breaks in immersion thanks to this whether its from knee jerk reaction setences or poor spelling. The latter appearing only occasionly. This indisputably pops up more the further in you read.

The story overall is a good tragedy nothing can really be criticised if not for being slightly predictable but nonetheless good. The character interaction is a little bland near the end with all relationships being only skindeep.

I'd have to say the worst quality of this novel is that the imperative rule of show don't tell is repeatedly abused like the main character. This pointedly appears in all of the relationships between characters Leiko and Mc ,Seiko and Mc, pretty much everyones connection to the Mc is bonded with this fragile stinglike connection that has no real implications.

When I read a novel or a book, I look for how the story and struggles of the charecters affect me.
The struggle and diversity of joshua made me honestly tear up and softly cry after his small measure of peace...This is an honest praise... a wonderful start to hopefully a long and varied story.

I'm only giving three starts rating because of two reasons:

1. the story lacks a punch, something interesting besides the realness of an avarage guys emotions in a different world.

2. The Grammar and writing style need serious improvment.
the most urgent thing is to properley distinct the proper use of male and female references.

Him, his, he........ are for males.
Hers, hers, she... are for females.

I would like to say that this is a story with a lot of potential, and i truly appriciate the realness of emotions. I do not wish for the main character to become OP all of a sudden. But i think a steady improvment in abilities and not only mentality is needed.

Another think is i would like to remind you to not forget the secondary characters for too long. continuity is needed for a smooth flow of the plot.

SON OF B!TCH, I opened a door I shouldn't have. It's pretty good and also I dont know how to feel but I would recommend this story to people who dont easily quit a story because of one thing they dont like about a story.

Overall impression: This story is for those who like heartbreaking and stories who might bring the one or two tears to a reader.

There will not be spoilers in this review other than what is stated in the introduction.

Style score: The author strikes the reader with aimed short sentences who bring forth a certain intimacy with the storytelling.

Story- and Character-score: Read it, all of it, before you continue to read please. Ideals and personalities can be forged by whatever hardships life throws at the individual which is wonderfully demonstrated by the tone of the story and the flawless characterisation.

Grammar score: Errors not found.

Imagine a ‘transportation’ novel without cliches

Almost everything in this novel is well done. The story is written quite nicely and is very interesting and unique, much more so than one of those other ‘reincarnation’ or ‘transported to another world’ novels that litter the internet with their overpowered, apathetic and fearless main characters who their harems.

Tale of deprived is a story about an ordinary man who is transported to a fantasy world with pretty much nothing and is captured by slave traders and sold to a noble, where he meets other slaves, like him-two beastkin doing their best to survive and a warrior searching for a purpose in life.

RRL seriously has too many VR and LitRPG novels littering the site along with the usual op MCs.This should be something refreshing if you’ve read those as it has no cliches,op MCs,harems with girls who fall in love at first sight and cringey characters.

The characters are also much better worked on than other works in RRL as they each have their own motivations, goals and viewpoints of others and the world which shows that each one of them is truly a human and not some two-dimensional side character. In the world of this story, nothing is black and white. There is no ‘good’ or ‘evil’ and everyone has their own reasons for doing something, whether for people they care about or their own desires.

The only problem here I see the grammar.Quite often,at the start of the story I see mistakes and mix-ups with present and past tenses along with plural and singular words.Since this is only at the start of the story,it’s not soo much of a big deal.

Overall, this tale that you’ve been working on really is a great piece of writing and I really hope that you continue writing it and if people stop obsessing over LitRPG’s,it should be able to,and deserves get to the top. :)

The spelling and grammar will break any immersion you might otherwise enjoy.  The errors are very numerous and I find myself having to constantly reread and try to interpert what the author meant.

The characters have no depth.  I am looking for purpose, I am for my sister, I am for my god blah blah all 1 dimensional.  The MC has a bit more depth but not much as he just seems to be around just so you can see what others are doing.

The story and plot is ok but not enough to overcome the flaws.

All in all read if you have nothing else but do so knowing you will have to proofread it yourself.

Really good, non cliched transmigration story. The grammar may get a little rough sometimes, a couple of missed words, but overall its really good. Keep up the good work!
