It was Aden’s dream of becoming known around the world, as one of the greatest adventurers ever known! Aden was your average 13-year-old boy who wanted to explore the world and live a life full of freedom. He dreamt of many such things and would dream of him and his best friend, a smart 13-year-old boy named Charles, as they traveled through those dreams and slay beasts beyond human imagination. That was what Aden could ever wish for, but like many other dreams, they are bound to be crushed by a certain person.

Aden was still able to continue on fulfilling his dreams, but is now bound as nothing more but an entertainer and slave for the Princess of Destruction, Lilith, who destroyed Aden’s home and turned him into a dragonkin. Permanently making him part monster. Now for his entire life, along with his friend Charles, they are to entertain the princess and not bore her throughout their adventures… or else she’ll kill them. Well, at least only Charles since Lilith happened to be in love with Aden, secretly.

its a pretty good story that is good at capturing the emotions of the characters, but it has a few glaring flaws.

the author swaps point of view and tense like ive never seen. in the same line it will shift to a different characters perspective without notice. then it will shift from 'in the moment' to narrating like a flashback followed up by some exposition, and finally returning to the present tense. all in about a paragraph or two.

there is a LOT of exposition sprinkled around everywhere and the fourth wall might as well not exist.

despite these flaws its still an interesting story

I left a review on one of the chapters but I’m too tired to write another similar review but who ever reads this novel I highly recommend reading it and props to the author for actually making my day.

The story is quite great and the way of its been written is unique compared to others with great grammar. The characters and the plot setting is interesting with a unique start for their adventure. I think Aden should learn magic but try putting him in a unique situation like he's being forced to just to survive or to save someone
